DU 2ND CUT OFF LIST 2019 RELEASED; 89% REQUIRED TO GET ADMISSION

Delhi University has released it’s second cutoff list 2019 on July 03, 2019. Bhagini Nivedita is the first college to announce the cutoff list for admission. As per the second cutoff list, of the college, the highest cutoff marks this time is for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics course with 89%. Second cutoff mark drops by 1% for Bhagini Nivedita College.

The next in line is the B.Com course with 83.5%. The cut off marks for the B. Sc. (Hons.) Home Sc. course is 80%. The candidates selected after the release of the second DU cutoff list 2019 have to complete their online admission form fill up, document verification, approval of admission and fee payment.

In the first cutoff of Bhagini Nivedita College the Cutoff marks for B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics and B.Com course was 90% and 84% respectively. For the B.Sc (Hons.) Home Science course it was 85%.

After the release of the first cutoff list of DU, 23000 candidates have been admitted in the colleges under DU, as per the reports. The first cutoff list of DU was declared on June 28, 2019. The second cutoff list is being declared today, July 03, 2019. the third cutoff list will be out on July 09, 2019 and the fourth cutoff list will be out on July 15, 2019.

As per the first cutoff list, the college with the highest cutoff marks was Hindu College with 99% cutoff marks for the B.A (Hons) Political Science course. This was followed by St. Stephens Collges with 98.75% marks as cutoff for the courses of B.A, English, Economics, and English Science. Also, the highest cutoff of 98.75% was also witnessed for the SRCC with 98.75% cutoff marks for the B.A(H) Economics course.

The merit lists that are declared now are for the candidates who have applied for the courses for which the admissions are based on merit only. There are some courses for which students will have to appear for an entrance exam – Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2019.

This is the first time that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the entrance exam for Delhi University. The exams are scheduled to be conducted between July 03 to July 08, 2019. The number of candidates who have registered for DU Admission 2019 until June 22, 2019, is around 2.89 lakh. There are around 4,208 candidates out of the total students who have registered and are from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category.
