NEET counselling 2019: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has rescheduled the second round of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Counselling 2019. All the candidates can check the revised dates on the official website of MCC, the link for which is medicalcounseling.nic.in
NEET 2019 counselling round 2 allotment schedule:
As per the revised schedule, the choice filling for MCC NEET 2019 round 2 allotment process will be conducted from July 11 to July 13.
Further, the payment facility will be available till July 13 till 12 noon as per server time.
Processing of seat allotment:
The process of seat allotment will be held from July 15 to July 17.
Eligibility for NEET UG 15% All India Quota counselling:
All candidates who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (NTA) except J&K. Eligible candidates may download the Rank letter/ Result from NTA website. Cut-off rank of eligible candidates is also available on this website under heading of notice.
NEET Round 2 allotment 2019: Result
According to revised schedule, the NEET 2019 counselling round 2 allotment results will be announced by MCC on July 18.
Meanwhile, the online registration process for the NEET UG 2019 first round of counselling was held from June 19 to June 24, 2019.
About NEET 2019 results:
This year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET examination. In the national-level entrance exam for the medical and dental courses, a total of 15, 19,375 candidates registered out of which 14, 10,754 aspirants appeared for the exam.
NEET counselling 2019: Procedure
The candidates are requested to register for the main counselling and do the payment. After submitting the fee, students will have to select and lock their courses and colleges of choice. Based on the preference of a student and their merit list, the student will be allotted a seat.
Selected candidates need to appear at the reporting centre with documents and clear a fitness test. Those who are finally selected are given admission and the rest of the seats will be pushed for the second round and so on. A list of vacant seats will be published and fresh choice submission, counselling etc will take place.
Process of online allotment:
- Main Counseling Registration including payment
- Exercising of Choices and Locking of choices
- Process of Seat Allotment -1st Round
- Round 1 Result Publication
- Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against 1st Round (free entry/exit option available)
- Publication of net vacant seats
- Registration & Fresh Choice submission by eligible candidates for 2nd Round (not required by already registered candidates).
- Process of Seat Allotment -2nd Round (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)
- Round 2 Result Publication’
- Reporting at the Medical / Dental Colleges /Institutions against 2nd Round (candidates once joined the allotted seat against 2nd Round are not allowed to vacate the seat).
