NEET Counselling 2019: Registration for round one to end today at 5pm

NEET Counselling 2019: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the registration process for the first round of counseling for admission to undergraduate level medical and dental courses today, June 24, 2019. Candidates can still apply till 5 pm on the official website i.e. mcc.nic.in. The payment facility will be available till June 25, 2019, as per the official notification.

Those who successfully register will be allowed to choose their choice of institute and course and lock the choice. The process will only be open on June 25. Based on the choices and merit, seat allocation list will be released on June 26, 2019. The result will be available on June 27. Those who successfully verify their documents from June 28 to July 3, 2019, will be granted seats or admissions.

NEET counselling 2019: List of documents required

  • Copy of downloaded NEET-MDS/PG 2019 admit card
  • NEET-MDS/PG 2019 mark sheet
  • Permanent / Provisional Registration certificate of Maharashtra Medical Council or other State Medical Councils in India/MCI
  • Nationality certificate/valid passport or School leaving certificate of HSC/ class 12 indicating the nationality of the candidate as ‘Indian’
  • BDS/MBBS degree
  • Certificate from Head of Institute showing that the college/ Institute from which the candidate has passed MBBS/MDS examination is recognized by Medical Council of India
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Copy of receipt of online fee payment
  • Internship completion certificate

NEET counselling 2019: Procedure

The candidates are requested to register for the main counselling and do the payment. After submitting the fee, students will have to select and lock their courses and colleges of choice. Based on the preference of a student and their merit list, the student will be allotted a seat.

Selected candidates need to appear at the reporting center with documents and clear a fitness test. Those who are finally selected are given admission and the rest of the seats will be pushed for the second round and so on. A list of vacant seats will be published and fresh choice submission, counselling, etc will take place

About NEET 2019 counselling for AIQ

The counselling for 15 percent All India Quota, central universities would be done by the MCC or Medical Counselling Committee as per the schedule provided above. The counselling schedule for the 85 percent State Quota would be released individually by the respective counselling bodies soon. The State-wise merit list would also be released by the respective institutes.
