Trained Apprentices of SBI: Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable to trained apprentices of SBI who have completed the apprenticeship successfully in SBI on or before November 30, 2024, and whose conduct and performance were satisfactory during the entire training period.
SBI Clerk Age Limit:
General Category: Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of August 1, 2024. This means candidates should have been born not earlier than August 2, 1996, and not later than August 1, 2004.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates from certain categories:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PWD (General/EWS): 10 years
PWD (SC/ST): 15 years
PWD (OBC): 13 years
Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: The actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
Widows, Divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried: 7 years (subject to the maximum age limit of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates)
Educational Qualification for Both Exams:
- A candidate must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
