To appear for NEET UG, candidates must meet some important eligibility conditions related to age, education, and nationality. A student should have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. General category students usually need at least 50% marks in PCB subjects, while reserved categories receive relaxation as per official guidelines. The minimum age required is 17 years by 31st December of the admission year, and currently there is no upper age limit or restriction on the number of attempts. Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are also eligible to apply according to the latest rules. Before filling out the application form, students should carefully check the official notification because eligibility rules, document requirements, and reservation policies may be updated by the conducting authority from time to time.
