While preparing for JEE Advanced, my experience was that consistency and deep understanding mattered much more than studying for long hours. Initially, I found the exam quite challenging because questions are not direct and often combine multiple concepts, but with regular practice of high-quality problems and repeated revision of core topics, my confidence gradually improved. I focused on strengthening fundamentals first, then slowly moved to advanced-level questions and previous year papers, which helped me understand the exam pattern and thinking style. In my view, the difficulty level is high mainly because it tests how well you can apply concepts rather than just remember them. My final advice would be to stay patient, avoid collecting too many resources, practice selectively but deeply, and analyze every mistake carefully, because improvement in JEE Advanced comes more from learning through errors than just solving new questions.
