The target population for ICILS is students in their eighth year of schooling (Grade 8), provided the average age is 13.5 years or older. If the average age in Grade 8 is lower, Grade 9 students are selected. It is not limited to "computer students"; it aims to measure the digital skills of the general student population across all subjects.
