TheFan Box widget is now the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/developers.facebook.com\/docs\/reference\/plugins\/like-box\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Like Box<\/a>\u00a0and it works well to<strong>display your current fan page stream and a selection of fans<\/strong>&#8211; see screenshot below with Whole Foods Market Facebook Like Box. I would recommend adding a title above the box encouraging visitors to your site\/blog to click the \u201cLike\u201d button (which makes them a Facebook fan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Get Fans to Tag Photos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you host live events, be sure to take plenty of photos<\/strong>(or even hire a professional photographer),<strong>load the photos to your fan page and encourage fans to tag themselves<\/strong>. This, again, pushes out into their wall and friends\u2019 News Feeds, providing valuable (free!) exposure. And, a picture says a thousand words \u2013 we notice the thumbnails in our feed more than text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make a Compelling Video and embed in blogs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Develop extremely engaging video content (funny, thought stimulating, etc).
