AIIMS MBBS 2019 admissions begin today

AIIMS has begun the admissions to the MBBS course based on its first allotment list today. Students who were allocated the seats in the first round are required to visit the Seat Allocation/Counselling portal and exercise accept or decline options. In case they fail to exercise the option they candidature will be considered forfeited and they will become ineligible for further rounds of counseling.

Following options are available to the candidates:

Option 1:ACCEPT the allocated seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in further rounds of counseling

Option 2:ACCEPT the allocated seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in the 2nd round of counseling

Option 3:DECLINE/REFUSE allocated seat and DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE in the 2nd and 3rd round of counseling

Option 4:DECLINE/REFUSE allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in the 2nd round of Seat Allocation

Students who chose the option 1 and 2 will have to report to the respective AIIMS college by 5:00 pm on Thursday (4th July) with a printed copy of the chosen option and complete the formalities required.

Students who chose either option 1 or option 2 will be required to bring the following set of documents to complete the admissions formalities:

  • Offer Letter
  • Registration Slip
  • Admit Card issued by AIIMS
  • Self-attested copy of class 10th and 12th mark-sheets
  • Self-attested copy of the certificate from the board showing his/her date of birth
  • Self-attested copy of class 12th certificate as a proof of passing the class from the recognized board

Candidates will also be required to bring the following certificate as applicable:

  • SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority
  • OBC certificate issued by the competent authority for the central Govt. jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste must match the central list of OBC and the candidate must not belong to the creamy layer of OBC
  • Disability certificate
